Why use a mobile vet?
🐾 Less Stress for Your Pet
No car rides, carriers, unfamiliar smells, or busy waiting rooms. Your pet can remain relaxed in the comfort and security of their own home.
🐾 Ideal for Anxious, Elderly, or Mobility-Impaired Pets
Home visits are particularly beneficial for pets who become stressed at the clinic, struggle with mobility, or find travel difficult
🐾 More Natural Assessments
Pets often behave more normally in their home environment, allowing us to gain a better understanding of their health, mobility, behaviour, and quality of life. Certain assessments, such as blood pressure measurements, can also be more accurate when pets are relaxed.
🐾 Convenient for Busy Families
No time spent travelling or waiting for appointments. We offer flexible appointment times, including evenings and weekends, helping veterinary care fit around your schedule.
🐾 Perfect for Multi-Pet Households
Have several pets that need vaccinations, health checks, or treatments? We can see multiple pets during the same visit, saving you time and reducing stress for everyone.
🐾 Personalized, Unhurried Care
Home visits allow for a more relaxed consultation experience, giving you the opportunity to discuss your pet's health concerns in a comfortable setting.
🐾 Compassionate End-of-Life Care
For families facing difficult decisions, home visits provide a peaceful and familiar environment for quality-of-life assessments and euthanasia services.

Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest decisions a family can make. When the time comes, I offer peaceful euthanasia in the comfort of your own home, where your pet feels safe and is surrounded by the people who love them.
The procedure is gentle, intentionally unhurried and carefully explained beforehand. There is no rushing, we move at your own pace and we often use sedation to ensure relaxation. Some pets- particularly those who are anxious, fearful or uncomfortable from handling- may benefit from oral medication given prior to the visit too. Please reach out beforehand if you feel your pet may need additional support, so we can plan appropriately.

For pets requiring regular ongoing injections such as Pentosan (Synovan), Beransa, Solensia, or Cytopoint, a reduced administration fee may apply when a full consultation is not required.
Please note that this fee covers the home visit and administration of the injection only. The cost of the medication is additional.
To comply with veterinary prescribing regulations, your pet's first appointment will need to be a standard consultation so that we can assess your pet and determine whether ongoing treatment is appropriate. Once established, future injection appointments may be booked without a full consultation where clinically appropriate.

Some pets experience significant stress or anxiety during veterinary procedures. Where appropriate, sedation can help make examinations and treatments safer and more comfortable for both your pet and the veterinary team.
Sedation may be recommended for:
Nail clipping in anxious or difficult-to-handle pets
Removal of small mats or knots causing discomfort (please note we are not a grooming service)
Thorough ear examinations and treatments
Oral and dental examinations
Diagnostic procedures requiring your pet to remain still
Pets with fear, anxiety, or previous negative veterinary experiences
All sedation procedures are tailored to your pet's individual needs and health status. A veterinary consultation is required prior to sedation to ensure it is safe and appropriate for your pet.
Please contact us to discuss your pet's specific needs and obtain a personalised estimate.

FAQs
How do I book and appointment and what times can we book?
1
Contact us by telephone or text between 9am and 5pm, or email at any time, and we will attempt to find a time that works for you. We do offer some after work and weekend times however you may need to leave a message at these times and we will get back to you. We are not an emergency vet service or hospital.
What if my pet is very anxious even at home?
2
We understand that some pets are anxious around vets handling them even at home in a calm setting. If we are unable to continue the examination we can rearrange with the option of sedating, using a nurse to help or giving pre consultation oral medication. The goal is to ensure everyone stays safe and your pet doesn’t have a negative experience. If you believe your pet would benefit from oral medication or sedation before the appointment please discuss this when you book.
Do I have to pay on the day and do you offer payment plans or afterpay?
3
Yes, we do require eftpos payment or bank transfer on the day during the consultation. No, we do not offer any payment plans or afterpay.
